Letter from Tamara (2/5)

Hello Concertino East, and thanks for your focus and hard work during our last rehearsal.

I am waiting on a few online strings auditions, so we won’t have our final seating placement until early next week. Winds will continue to record their auditions for the iPad during our next rehearsal, and I will have written comments for all scored auditions then as well.

We are quickly approaching our Winter concert, so it is important that everyone has that goal to “lock in” to their parts. We need to remember what we have learned at each rehearsal so we aren’t stagnant in our progress towards a polished performance at the end of the month.

A few notes to winds:

Trumpets- I have bee made aware that there is a time signature missing from your parts in Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Please mark at rehearsal B you are in 9/8 and no longer in 3/4.

Clarinets- we will have only Clarinet 1 players cover the solos in The Old Castle.
