Letter from Ms. Mary (4/20)

Hey Philharmonia West!

What a fun night we had this past Monday! So fun to have parents sharing in the Philharmonia spirit! A shoutout to all of the students who had parents joining us on Bring-A Parent night!

We have only two more rehearsals before Spring Festival!  How did this spring go by so quickly? A reminder about the repertoire for that concert:

• March of the Meistersingers
• An African-American Air
• Turbulence
• Jupiter

Please continue to focus on memorizing Jupiter.  We will spend more time on this at our next rehearsal.  We will also spend some time working on some improvisational skills.  We do this often in our rehearsals, with our call and response patterns.  We will spend more time on this important and rather fun musical skill.

Our call time for Spring Festival is 8:30am.  The call time is important, as we will be rehearsing Jupiter as well as our individual pieces.  What time is our call time?
