Letter from Ms. Mary (2/24)
Dear Philharmonia East,
What a super night at our rehearsal. Lots of energy in the room. I am so glad that many of you made it to our pizza time before the rehearsal. Our concert is this Saturday!
Please check out our previous email with all of the specifics, but here are some of the key details:
- Concert is this Saturday at Two Rivers High School
- Our call time is 8:30AM
- Concert dress is black on bottom and solid colored, long-sleeved on top
- We are sharing this concert with GTCYS’ Harmony, ComMusication and GTCYS’ Concertino East
- The concert begins at 10:30AM
The repertoire that we are performing is:
- Hop, Skip and Jump
- Jubilee Fanfare
- Draw the Circle
- Merengue del Primer Dedo
Please take time this week to review these pieces. Before Saturday, try to play through these concert pieces at least 3 times. You got this, Philharmonia East!
Our rehearsal next week is the Open Rehearsal, where you can invite your friends who play a string instrument to join us for our rehearsal. We will play some of our new repertoire for this rehearsal. Let’s see how many friends we can bring!
