Sinfonia West,
Nice work last week!

Flutes/Oboes- continue to work on anything that your sectional coach went over.
Here are your practice goals for this week:

Cumberland Cross:

1-25: Focus on your notes and counting first! Then pay attention to your intonation and then phrasing. Double-check that you are counting all the dotted quarter notes correctly!

25-60: Watch the style! The accents and staccatos make this section stand out. Winds/brass: work on picking up the tempo at measure 29-32 to match the string tempo.

Ending: learn your notes and rhythms so you can watch me for all the tempo changes

Dance of the Tumblers:
Work in small sections! Practice between each letter 2-3x before you move on to the next section. Watch your key signature, rhythm, and bowings for the strings. Brass, look out for all your accents!

Voyager:
 Brass, we will have new parts for you next week, but you can practice  the part you have now since it will be similar. Strings, watch your bowings as you continue to learn your parts.
