Letter from Mrs. Hebert (10/27)

Hello Sinfonia West,

Wow! Last night was much improved! Thank you for the progress we were able to make with less talking.

This week:

1. Play WITH the recordings! If you still need to access them, check out jwpepper.com
2. Play WITH your metronome! Cumberland Cross still wants to go too slow at the beginning.
3. Work on Dynamics and phrasing! Work on playing softly for “Piano”
4. Work through small sections that you still need improvement on.
5. Play through the entire piece and then go back to figure out what needs more work.
6. Start working through our holiday pieces.

I know a lot of you have been reading the emails so you know what to work on. Thanks!! This is an encouragement to keep doing that to help us grow together as a group. For those still reading, wear something RED to rehearsal next week! 🙂
