Letter from Mr. Larson (9/16)

Sinfonia East Students and Families,

The week has flown by and we are very close to our Fall Retreat. I got a great report from Mrs. Herbert and she said everyone worked really hard. Remember to eat a big breakfast and to pack a good lunch. The retreat is tons of fun and is an opportunity to work on music as well get to know each other!

What we worked on at the rehearsal:

Bizet – Key signature and making to find all of the flats

Gordon – dynamics, style, entrances after 8th rests

Holesovsky – ??

What to work on with your GTCYS 10 before our retreat on Saturday, Sept. 20

Listen to each piece at least two times this week and look at the following ideas.
