Letter from Maestro Smith (12/15)

Once again you gave a great performance — congratulations!  You should all feel proud of our performances on Monday night — great focus, infectious energy, sensitive musicianship — you really rose to the occasion!

Thanks to the Brass and Percussion ensemble for your extra offerings — well done!  And to our solo string quartet in the the Abels — fantastic job!

Now take a couple of days off and savor the moment — but please be ready to dive right back in come January…

We have a very special group this year with amazing potential — let’s celebrate our victories and also keep working as we learn new repertoire for the rest of the year (and of course — TOUR!!!)
