I am incredibly impressed with your amazing work ethic.  Thank you for a very productive rehearsal on Tuesday night — we really accomplished A LOT — and your focus and energy were very impressive.

The first movement of Tchaik is really starting to take shape — I can tell that many of you are taking your commitment to be well prepared very seriously.  We have such great potential, and with everyone working as hard as they did on Tuesday, we will achieve great things.

Keep listening to this fantastic symphony — there is a unique style that Tchaikovsky’s music requires, so the more you hear this music, the more that style will become second nature.

I look forward to continued focus on movements one and four.  Now we start to not just play the notes, but create the poetry and emotions that Tchaikovsky is portraying.
