I hope you are able to spend time with family and friends this week! As a reminder, we do not have rehearsal on Thanksgiving. Use this time to recharge, but also let’s not forget to prepare for the next rehearsal on Thursday, December 4th!
GTCYS 10 Reminder: This week I need all musicians to be working on getting familiar with Ode to Childhood. We still need to read the 3rd movement, which will be one of our main tasks when we are together. After this, we need to pace out our December Concert repertoire and practice Ukrainian Bell Carol, Bright Lights, Romeo and Juliet, and A Christmas Festival back-to-back.
For Ode to Childhood to be successful in 2026, you need to put the time in now. I know with your hard work and practice we will have something wonderful to present to the world.
