Tips for Seating Auditions (and your regular auditions, too)!
- Use a metronome, Use a tuner. It works!
- Listen to excerpts to get a clean idea of what you should be aiming for. Listening is one of the best things we can do as musicians.
- Make a timeline and stick to it. Get yourself confident in your playing days before the final day of preparation to give yourself wiggle room! No one plays their best if they cram practicing in at the last minute.
- Read through your weekly emails! First student to respond to this email with the secret phrase “polar vortex”gets a prize of your choosing.
Stay warm, be safe, see you soon!
Best wishes,
Kaiser
