Dear Concert Orchestra,

Thank you for your focus, attention, and spirit during our big sectionals/rehearsal time last night!

You’ve come such a long way this year. I hope you are as excited as I am to perform on April 19th!

Regarding your GTCYS 10, please focus on rounding out each of our pieces for this upcoming concert. Please also take a look at the worklist too for some specific points from me.

For next week: We will have a short amount of time with each piece (and a VERY short time with Larsen- 10 minutes!). We’ll rehearse in concert order:

6:45-6:55: Larsen: Overture for the End of a Century

6:55-7:25: Beethoven, Allegretto from Symphony 7

7:25-7:55: Marquez, Danzon no. 2 (measure 220 to the end)

7:55-8:05: BREAK and announcements

8:05-8:45: Williams: Selections from the Phantom Menace (complete)
