Dear Concert Orchestra,

What a gift we received on Monday night! I hope you learned as much as I did from listening to Libby Larsen’s perspective on her piece and a career in music. Awesome work, all around.

We are back into sectionals next week, with a short full orchestra rehearsal at the end of the evening! This week, please focus your GTCYS 10 on Williams, Marquez (Measure 220 to the end) and reviewing Beethoven or Larsen as needed.

Here is the schedule:

6:45-8:05: A targeted sectional on Marquez and Williams.

8:05-8:10: Break and move to full orchestra set up.

8:10-8:45: Full orchestra rehearsal of Williams.
