What a breathtaking evening! We’re so grateful to the 900+ families, friends, alums, music teachers, and community members who joined us at Ted Mann Concert Hall and on the livestream for Symphony’s Tour Send-Off Concert.
We talked to some audience members after the concert—hear what they thought!

Tour Program
Symphony’s incredible musicianship filled the hall here at home before they embark on tour next week to New Zealand and Australia, with a capstone concert at the Sydney Opera House.
The first half of the tour program highlights the inspiring talent in Symphony:
-
Quartet Selene’s performance in Michael Abels’ Delights & Dances
-
Trumpet player Christian’s solo in “With Malice Towards None” from Lincoln by John Williams
-
Student composer Luke Soneral’s piece, An Overture: The Mouse and Its Shadow
And the second half—the complete performance of Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet—is an emotional and intense display of musical maturity, where everyone in the ensemble simply shines.
If you missed the concert or want to relive the magic, most of the performance is available on YouTube, thanks to our amazing community of donors.
