Harmony LNFI Week 13 – February Concert Details

Dear Harmony L’Etoile du Nord Families,

School has been cancelled tomorrow, which means we will not have Harmony class tomorrow morning 01/23/26!

We look forward to making music together on Monday and Wednesday next week (there is no school on Friday, 01/30)!

February Concert Details

We have a concert coming up on Saturday, February 28! 

• Where: Two Rivers High School (1897 Delaware Ave, Mendota Heights, MN 55118)
• When: Harmony students should arrive at 1:15pm. The concert starts at 2:30pm.
• When does it end: The concert will be about an hour long, so students will be ready to head home a little after 3:30.
• Who is playing: Harmony LNFI and two GTCYS Orchestras (Sinfonia East and Camerata Vivace) will perform at this concert.
• Who should come: Family and friends are welcome! There is no cost for tickets and you do not need to reserve them in advance.
• What to wear: Guidelines for “Concert Dress” are below. Please let me know if you need help finding concert clothes for your student!

“Concert Dress” – What to Wear for Harmony Concerts

“Concert dress” is “Black on top and black on the bottom.” That means:

• Top: Black ¾ to long sleeved black shirt (elbow length or longer)
• Bottom: Long black dress slacks OR floor- or ankle-length black skirt (not form-fitting)
• Socks: Black socks or tights
• Shoes: Black dress shoes (no open toes, sandals, or sneakers)

Attendance at Harmony

If you are not able to get to Harmony for any reason, please remember to submit an absence form! If you need to discuss a leave of absence because your student is enrolling in online school, please send me an email emily@gtcys.org
