Harmony LNFI Week 5

Dear Harmony L’Etoile du Nord Families,

I can hardly believe we’re already at the end of Week 5 of Harmony! Here are a few updates from this week:

  • Roots students are starting to decide between violin and cello! Very soon, violin and cello classes will start spending more time learning in separate classes.
  • Mary Sorlie, who returning students will remember from last year, has been subbing for Ms. Irene’s class this week. It’s been so fun to have Ms. Mary back for a few classes!
  • Ms. Emily’s class worked on French Folk Song and started learning a new song, Long Long Ago.

Arriving in the morning: thank you for arriving between 7:50 and 8:00am in the mornings! As a reminder, Harmony staff will not be available to greet students until 7:50am, so please do not arrive before 7:50am.

Our Harmony Value of the Week is Effort

  • Effort is putting in the work to learn new things both in class and at home. It’s about trying your best, even when you make mistakes.

Emily
