Harmony LNFI Week 24 – Updated Spring Festival Details
Dear Harmony L’Etoile du Nord Families,
I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather this week (and staying dry today)! We had a busy Harmony week, preparing for our upcoming performance at Spring Festival!
This May, Harmony L’Etoile du Nord and Harmony Riverview will perform together – there will be about 100 students on stage! Our “performance repertoire” is Ode to Joy, Frère Jacques, and Merengue del Primer Dedo. Please encourage your students to work on those pieces at home over the next couple of weeks!
One quick reminder: please make sure students do not enter the school before 7:50am (unless they are attending Discovery Club before Harmony)! We had a few early arrivals this week – I love seeing students arrive on time, but teachers are not ready to greet students until 7:50.
Updated Spring Festival Details and Ticket Information
Please note: the call time for Harmony has been updated to 1:35pm (it was previously listed as 1:50pm) on Sunday, May 10.
- Both Harmony programs (LNFI and Riverview) will perform together at “Spring Festival III” on Sunday, May 10, at 3:30 pm.
- “Call time” is 1:35 pm, which means students should enter the building right at 1:35pm. Students will enter at the Stage Door on S. Marquette Ave, not the main entrance to the building. Families will also meet students at the Stage Door after the concert is over.
- Concert Dress is the same as our February concert: students should wear black on top and black on the bottom. Remember to wear black shoes and socks too!
- For this concert, you need to reserve your tickets in advance! Use the codes below to get two free tickets and four additional discounted tickets to Spring Festival.
- Here is our performance repertoire (the pieces we will perform): Ode to Joy, Frère Jacques, and Merengue del Primer Dedo. 5th graders from Harmony Riverview will also perform “Gavotte.” Videos for Ode to Joy and Merengue are linked at the end of this email.
