Congratulations on a wonderful first performance of the year! It was so fun to see Harmony play together for their school community in celebration of National African American Parent Involvement Day (NAAPID).

Parent Volunteers on February 28

We are still looking for a two parent volunteers to greet students as they arrive for the February 28 Concert at Two Rivers High School. If you are able to help out, please sign up here!

Harmony Homework

Please encourage your students to play their performance pieces at home as much as possible over the next two weeks! All Harmony students should watch the new videos on YouTube and play along with French Folk Song, Ode to Joy, and Long Long Ago. Roots should follow Ms. Denise (cello) or Ms. Laurie (violin). Returning students should play along with the melody.

February Concert Reminders:

  • Where: Two Rivers High School (1897 Delaware Ave, Mendota Heights, MN 55118)
  • When: Harmony students should arrive at 1:15pm. The concert starts at 2:30pm.
  • What to wear: “Concert dress” is “Black on top and black on the bottom.” More details on page 7 of the Harmony Handbook (linked on the Member Page).
