Fall Retreat

Hello Philharmonia West families, 

We are excited about your upcoming Fall Retreat at the St. Louis Park Community Center on Saturday, September 20, from 9:00am–1:00pm. Please review the details below and respond to this email with any questions.  

If your student must be absent for the retreat, please do not reply to this email: complete a Philharmonia West absence form. 

RETREAT INFORMATION  

Saturday, September 20, 2025, 9:00am–1:00pm  

St. Louis Park Recreation Center 
3700 Monterey Dr 
St Louis Park, MN 55416 
Reference this map for entrance instructions. Look for the green GTCYS signs on the main entrance doors and go to the Banquet Room. 
 

• 8:45am: Parents drop off students at the St. Louis Park Recreation Center  
• 9:00am: Rehearsal and fun group activities. Snacks provided by GTCYS. 
• 11:30am: Lunch 
• Students bring their own packed lunches.  
• NO NUTS policy: Do not bring anything containing nuts to any GTCYS activity. 
• 12:15pm: Rehearsal 
• 1:00pm: Retreat ends (parents, please pick up your students promptly at 1:00pm) 

WHAT TO BRING  

• Music stand – IMPORTANT, as we don’t have extras on site 
• Lunch 
• Instrument and accessories 
• Pencil 
• Music folder   
• Water bottle 
• Cellos and basses: Please remember rock stops!
