Hello Concert Orchestra Families,
We look forward to your concert at Roseville Lutheran Church on Sunday, December 14 – 6:00pm
We hope you’re excited to perform for the community at Roseville Lutheran Church. This concert is an important part of your musical and personal development in GTCYS—it’s a chance to see the impact of your music on your audience. Please review the following information carefully.
CONCERT INFORMATION
Sunday, December 14, 2025 – 6:00pm
Roseville Lutheran Church 1215 Roselawn Ave. West, Roseville, MN 55113
This performance is a mandatory event for members of GTCYS Concert Orchestra.
Complete an absence form in advance if you’re not able to attend.
This concert is free and open to the public. Please invite your friends and family to attend!
CONCERT SCHEDULE
- Sunday, December 14 – 6:00pm
- 4:30pm: Students arrive
- 5:00pm: Mandatory dress rehearsal
- 5:30pm: Audience begins seating
- 6:00pm: Concert begins
- 6:45pm (approx.): Concert ends
ATTIRE
All students wear formal concert attire, with the optional addition of holiday accessories. See the handbook for more details.
Do not wear any aerosol-based perfumes or colognes.
WHAT TO BRING
- Every student MUST bring a music stand
- Instrument and all accessories: remember your bow, extra strings, rosin, rock stops. Percussion students must bring a snare drum, snare drum stand, bell set, and mallets.
- Music folder: Check to make sure all your music is in your folder! You will NOT turn in your folder at the end of the concert.
- Please leave valuables and homework at home.
