Camerata Con Brio String Seating Update

Dear Camerata Con Brio String Players,

Thank you for your work preparing your seating auditions last week.  I am grateful that we had a good set of judges that gave helpful feedback and listened carefully to your work. The new seating chart is attached below this message, but before you look at it, remember what we talked about last fall:

#1 Leave your audition in the past.
What is done is done. Sometimes auditions go well and sometimes they don’t. Celebrate your victories humbly and give yourself some grace if things didn’t go as well as you’d hoped.

#2 Be content with your present self.
Move forward with the confidence that you belong to an amazing group that values you. The real win is that you are a part of this orchestra in the first place and where you sit does not increase or decrease your contribution to the group.

#3 Believe in your future self.

Every time you go through an audition, it makes you stronger. Regardless of the outcome, you are better at this skill now than you were last week.

Okay. Now you can look at the list. I will have your judge’s comments on your seat on Tuesday. See you then!

Diane
