Camerata Con Brio Seating Update

Dear CCB Strings,

A huge thanks to all of you for getting your seating auditions done!  Our judges went right to work and provided some excellent feedback for each of you.  Second violins, you will receive your feedback on a sheet of paper.  The rest of you will be emailed your feedback.  I highly encourage you to consider the comments from your judges.  Receiving feedback from a professional player is a gift and their comments are meant to make you stronger!

Before you take a look at our new seating, I want you to take a breath and think this through:

Be forgiving with your past self. What’s done is done. Sometimes auditions go well and sometimes they don’t. Celebrate your victories humbly and give yourself some grace if things didn’t go as well as you’d hoped.

Be strict with your present self.  Move forward with the confidence that you belong to an amazing group that values you. Then win the moment in front of you right now.

Be flexible with your future self. There are many paths to success and our job is to follow where that path leads–which is not always where we think it should go.

Finally, be kind to one-another. Some people will be celebrating a victory when they see their new placement, others will feel disappointed. Support one another, encourage one another, and make friends with your new stand partner.

Okay.  Here you go.  CCB FALL FESTIVAL SEATING

See you at rehearsal!
