Camerata Con Brio December Concert Details

Hello Camerata Con Brio Families, 

We look forward to your concert at Wayzata High School on Saturday, December 13 at 3:00pm.  

This concert is an important part of your musical and personal development in GTCYS—it’s a chance to see the impact of your music on your audience. Please review the following information carefully. 

CONCERT INFORMATION

Saturday, December 13, 2026 at 3:00pm 

Wayzata High School, 4955 Peony Ln N, Plymouth, MN 55446 

This performance is a mandatory event for members of GTCYS Camerata Con Brio. 

Complete an absence form in advance if you’re not able to attend.   

• This concert is free and open to the public. Please invite your friends and family to attend!  

• ALL students are required to stay for the entire concert out of respect for their fellow musicians. Including a pause between the orchestras for a set change, the entire concert will last approximately 1 hour.  

CONCERT SCHEDULE 

Saturday, December 13 

• 1:15pm: Students arrive  
• 1:40pm: Mandatory dress rehearsal 
• 2:40pm: Audience begins seating 
• 3:00pm: Concert begins 
• 4:00pm (approx.): Concert ends 

ATTIRE 

All students wear formal concert attire, with the optional addition of holiday accessories. See the handbook for more details.  

Do not wear any aerosol-based perfumes or colognes.  

WHAT TO BRING 

• Every student MUST bring a music stand 
• Instrument and all accessories: remember your bow, extra strings, rosin, rock stops. Percussion students must bring a snare drum, snare drum stand, bell set, and mallets. 
• Music folder: Check to make sure all your music is in your folder! You will NOT turn in your folder at the end of the concert. 
• Please leave valuables and homework at home.

Park and Enter on the South Side of the building. The entrance will say COMMONS.

• All GTCYS students are invited to the Symphony Series Concert with Philharmonic on Monday, December 15 at 7:00pm. GTCYS students can attend for free with the code gtcysmusicstudent.  
• Mark your calendars: Your winter retreat will be on Saturday, January 17 from 8:30am – 1:00pm at Roseville Area High School. More details to come!
