A record number of GTCYS students were selected fo

A record number of GTCYS students were selected for @carnegiehall's National Youth Orchestras. Solanite Ketema (Philharmonic) and Emily Alexander (Symphony) will attend NYO2 (ages 14-16), and Symphony musicians Sophia Alexander, Lorelei Schoenhard, and Christian Garner will attend NYO-USA (ages 16-19). Luke Soneral (Symphony) was also selected as an NYO-USA apprentice composer. Congratulations to all on this incredible achievement!

This summer, NYO-USA will embark as musical ambassadors on a tour of Asia, and NYO2 will perform as one of the resident orchestras at the Edinburgh International Festival.

We can’t wait to hear about the incredible musical memories these students make this summer! Follow along with their journey at @nyo.usa @nationalyouthorchestra2
