GTCYS Scholarship Application: 2020 Southern Italy Tour
DEADLINES
For Southern Italy Symphony Tour: Applications are due on Tuesday, October 1. Late applications will not be considered. Families will be notified of the results by email on Tuesday, October 8. The deadline to register for the tour is Wednesday, October 23.
ABOUT SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarship awards are based on demonstrated financial need. The amount of the award is based on a sliding scale, which takes into account household income, number of children living at home, and extraordinary circumstances. Every GTCYS family is expected to pay a portion of the tour cost, meaning that no award will cover 100% of the cost to participate. The minimum payment for families with the highest financial need is $500. Installment plans can be arranged for the balance due.

EXPECTATIONS FOR TOUR SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
- Consistent practice and preparation for all tour activities and active participation in rehearsals and concerts leading up to the tour.
- Participation in the full tour.
- Timely payment of all tour costs not covered by financial aid.
