Since graduating from Macalester College with a degree in trumpet performance, Jon has been teaching private lessons on all brass instruments, as well as piano. He is a professional jazz trumpeter and pianist working in the Twin Cities. He has taught many GTCYS and MYS students. He has a supportive, easy-going, low pressure style. He is knowledgable and experienced in helping students achieve their goals.
