Cheryl Zylla is an artist performer, offering intermediate thru advanced students individualized private lessons. She focuses on student's physical comfort/posture, use of scales & etudes to develop technique, review of orchestral excerpts, and improving solo pieces so that they're beautifully phrased and communicate with the audience. Ms. Zylla has served as judge for Mary West Competition, MacPhail, GTCYS, public & private school Solo & Ensemble contest, as well as performing with several Midwest area professional chamber music groups Lyra Baroque, Bach Society, Bach Roots, La Grande Bande, American Bach Festival, and Tafelmusik Baroque.
