About the Instructor
Benjamin Schonberg is a violin performer and pedagogue from Minnesota where he earned his B.A in Music Performance at the University of Minnesota, Morris in 2020. In 2025, he received his Master’s of Music in Violin Pedagogy at Texas Tech University under the instruction of Dr. John Gilbert.
Ben has served as concertmaster of the University of Minnesota, Morris Chamber Orchestra and assistant concertmaster of the Central Lakes Symphony Orchestra. He has performed at the Bravo! Summer Music Festival in Faribault, MN and the Pienza Music Festival in Pienza, Italy.
Ben is currently offering violin lessons at the University of Northwestern Academy of Music in St. Paul, MN and the Wirth Center for the Performing Arts in St. Cloud, MN.
