Katie assists the Program Director through student registration, scheduling auditions, tracking enrollment details, managing the database, volunteer coordination, and other administrative duties. She is a composer, oboist, and mandolinist who graduated from St. Olaf College with a degree in Music Theory and Composition. Before joining the GTCYS administrative team in summer 2017, Katie worked in marketing for the music organizations department at St. Olaf, concert administrator for Madeline Island Chamber Music, and regional sales for J.W. Pepper, as well as being a Rehearsal Assistant with GTCYS for three years. She enjoys sampling the local arts and restaurant scenes in the Twin Cities. Katie lives in St. Paul with her beloved vegetable garden.
